W as opened in 1993, this course is higher than the south one, and the 15th hole affords a breathtaking view of Mijas. the 4th and 5th holes are also worth a mention. Both courses are a challenge for any golfer. Marvellous kept, both courses are characterised by their Bermuda Tifway 419 tees and fairways and their Penncross greens. The bunkers filled with crushed marble, add the final American touch. When playing on either of the courses, precision more than strength is recommended after teeing-off and a good shot is needed to reach the elevated greens. The golf academy has a driving range and a large area for practising one's short game. The facilities include squash courts, an indoor pool, a sauna, comfortable lounges, a bar, a restaurant and a well-stocked sports shop.
